Below is information regarding where Engagement forms and consents will write back depending on the Practice Management Software your office uses.

Eaglesoft

Forms and consents will upload in SmartDocs.

Open Dental

Forms and consents will upload into Images.

Dentrix

Forms and consents will upload into the Document Center.

Important note for Dentrix users: Dentrix version 23.3 is not compatible with forms writeback in Engagement. In order to writeback forms, you must be on Dentrix version 23.4.

When forms and consents are pushed into the Document Center, they will appear with a string of characters in the title/name. This behavior is expected. It prevents duplicate forms from being uploaded into your Document Center and cluttering your folders.

View the example below:

Important note for Dentrix users: In order for new patient forms to be automatically added into the Dentrix Document Center, they must have a patient chart created prior to submitting any forms.
