OnSchedule (Block) Templates in Eaglesoft provide a framework for you to use when scheduling appointments. When you assign the appointment types set up earlier to various time slots throughout the day, you are able to easily schedule the "types" of appointments you want at the times and days you prefer.
Create a Template for Office Chairs
Go to Lists | OnSchedule | Template Designer
To create a new Template, select New
To edit an existing Template, select Edit
To delete an existing Template, select Delete
To create a new template, select New and enter a Description
Select the first time slot where you want to add a Template Type and click Add Type
In the Appointment Type Design window, choose the drop-down box to select the Appointment Type you want to have scheduled when you use this template.

Then choose the Duration of the appointment type (Time Units in version 15 and below). The time increments will match the time units selected in File | Preferences | OnSchedule
Click OK
Select the next time slot where you want to assign an Appointment Type and repeat steps 3 thru 6
Once you fill up all of the time slots you desire, your Template Designer window will look something like this:
(If you wish to remove an Appointment Type from your template, highlight a time slot for that Appointment Type and select Clear Type)
Assign Templates to Office Chairs
To assign the Template Designs you just created:
Go to Lists | OnSchedule | Office Chairs
Select the chair and click Edit
Select the drop-down menu next to the day where you want to assign the template and select the Template you wish to use
Click OK to save
When you have the templates assigned you will see the colors of the appointment types on the Schedule
Now, when you make an appointment in those time slots, that appointment type will be automatically selected in the OnSchedule appointment window
