Schedule Analysis helps you review your schedule by Day, Week, or Month so you can track production, monitor provider goals, and identify opportunities to grow your practice. With these views, you’ll always have a clear understanding of how your schedule is performing — and where you have opportunities to optimize production and patient care.

Accessing Schedule Analysis

  1. In the left-hand menu, click Schedule and then select Schedule Analysis

  2. The schedule will open in the Month View by default

  3. Use the calendar or the breadcrumbs at the top of the page to switch between Day, Week, or Month views

Month View

  • Displays the total scheduled production for the entire practice on each day.

  • Click any day to open the Day View for each provider.

  • Use the calendar in the top-right corner to adjust the date range.

Week View

  • Shows each provider’s total scheduled production per day compared to their individual goals.

  • Click on a day to see more detailed data and schedules.

  • The date range can be updated using the top-right calendar.

Day View

In the Day View we provide a summary of each provider's schedule. This includes:

  • Number of appointments

  • Clinical hours

  • Scheduled production vs. daily production goal

  • Dollar value of unscheduled treatment from the treatment plan

When you click into a provider, you’ll see their schedule in chronological order with:

  • Appointment times

  • Patient names

  • Attached ADA codes

  • Images to be completed (if needed)

  • Confirmation status

  • Opportunities to increase patient value (unscheduled treatment, unscheduled family members, A/R balances, and future hygiene visits)

Each metric is clickable and will open the patient card with more details.

Open Time Blocks

Open time blocks highlight any unscheduled blocks in a provider’s schedule. Clicking into an open time block displays a list of suggested patients to fill that time. This list is based on:

  • Reimbursement rates

  • A/R balances (patients with outstanding balances are excluded)

  • Unscheduled treatment needs

  • Treatment acceptance history

  • Show rate (avoiding frequent no-shows or late cancellations)

  • Patient’s preferred day of the week

Operatory View

  • Select Schedule by Operatory to view appointments organized by chair.

  • Open chairs will be clearly displayed.

  • Hover over or click an appointment to view the patient’s card and key statistics.
