Dental Intelligence is in constant connection with your practice management software, however, Analytics and Engagement modules do sync data differently, and that’s intentional based on how each tool is used.
Analytics is designed to give you the high-level view of your practice — production, collections, case acceptance, and more. Because it’s about trends and big-picture performance, nightly syncs are enough to give you accurate, reliable insights without needing up-to-the-minute data.
Engagement is where you’re working the details in real time — confirming appointments, sending reminders, requesting payments, and so on. Since you’re taking action directly with patients here, Engagement updates automatically throughout the day so your team is always working with the most current information.
In short: Analytics shows you the story of your practice, while Engagement is where you act on today’s details.
