Fix Mismatched Operatory Names Between Dentrix and Dental Intelligence

If your operatory names in Dental Intelligence don't match Dentrix, a quick setting change in Dentrix will fix it

Dental Intelligence displays operatory names exactly as they're set in Dentrix's Operatory View. If the names you see in your Dental Intelligence dashboard (for example, in Morning Huddle) don't match what you're used to seeing in Dentrix, it's because that source setting needs updating.

This article walks through the quick Dentrix configuration to fix it — no changes needed in Dental Intelligence.

  1. Open Dentrix Office Manager. Go to Practice Setup > Practice Resource Setup

  2. Locate the list of operatories at the top right of the Setup window

  3. Select the operatory you want to change the name of, and click Edit

  4. In the Operatory Title window, change the name of the operatory. When finished, click OK to save

Changes made to operatory names are not synced immediately with Dental Intelligence. Changes will be reflected after the next nightly sync.
