Engagement: Virtual Check-In Requests

This article will discuss how to enable automated Virtual Check-In requests in Engagement

Automated Check-In Requests will simplify the check in process for you and your patients by going mobile!

Before you get started, watch this short video about how to enable Automated Check-In Request Notifications:

Automated Check-In Request Notifications

  1. Access Settings by clicking the gear icon in the upper right hand corner

  2. Select Practice Setup, then click Appointment Communication

  3. Within the Appointment Communications section, scroll to Check-In Request Notifications

  4. To enable Automated Check-In Request Notifications, select the checkbox

  5. Enter in the number of minutes before the appointment that you would like the notification to be sent

  6. Allow check-in from the Mobile App (only) or from Mobile App & Text/Email (recommended) by selecting the coordinating bubble

  7. To utilize a QR-code scan to check-in with the Mobile App, select the checkbox

  8. To allow the appointment status to automatically update to HERE/ARRIVED in your Practice Management Software upon check in through Engagement, select the checkbox

  9. Select Save once settings are complete
