This article will discuss the difference between Dental Intelligence Analytics' and Engagement [Modento]'s Active Patient definition

Dental Intelligence Analytics only recognizes Active Patients as patients that are currently marked as Active inside your PMS or patients who have completed treatment within the last 18 months.

Engagement [Modento] pulls all of the patients that are marked as Active inside your Practice Management Software (regardless of when they were last seen), as well as any Inactive Patients that meet the following criteria:

  1. Has appointments scheduled

  2. Completed an appointment within the last 30 days

  3. Is a guarantor or guardian for an active patient

  4. Has sent new communication within the last 30 days


💥Note💥: Inactive patients in Engagement [Modento] will be ignored for Bulk actions & Recalls and will be hidden in Engagement [Modento] once they no longer meet one of the above conditions.
