Questions about the Inbox

How do I use the Inbox?

The Inbox is a tool you can use to stay on top of appointment requests, completed paperwork, patient payments, messages, and more.

Use the filters on the left side of the Inbox to filter notifications by type.

Click on the blue actions in each line item to view details, download/preview attachments, post payments to the ledger, and sign forms.

When finished, mark each notification as read to archive it and keep your Inbox organized. Click on the checkbox in the upper right corner of the notification and then click Confirm.

How do I sort by notification type in the Inbox?

Filter Inbox notifications by clicking on the filter types in the left side of the Inbox:

  • Appointment

  • Forms

  • Payment

  • Financing

  • Reward

  • Message

  • Marketing

  • Online Scheduling

Deselect currently chosen filters by clicking on them again.

Can I turn off certain notifications from showing in the Inbox?

Inbox notification types cannot be modified at this time. To make sure that your Inbox remains organized and decluttered, it's important to archive notifications once they are completed/acted upon.

To mark a notification as read and archive it so that it no longer shows in the Inbox, click on the checkbox in the upper right corner and then click Confirm.

I accidentally archived something. How to I move it back to the Inbox?

If you've accidentally archived a notification, you can move it back into the Inbox in just a few clicks.

  1. Click on Archived in the left side menu of the Inbox

  2. Locate the item you would like to move back into the main Inbox, then click on the Unarchive icon in the upper right corner

  3. Click on All in the left side menu of the Inbox to confirm that the item you unarchived has been moved back to the main Inbox

Why is my Inbox empty?

If your Inbox is empty, it's likely because all notifications have been archived. To view all archived messages, click on Archived in the left side menu of the Inbox.

Why can't I archive notifications or click on any actions in the Inbox?

If you are unable to perform Inbox actions, you have not been granted permission in your user profile. Contact an admin team member in your practice to enable access. Click here to learn how to update user permissions.
