Knowing which software version your practice management system ("PMS") is currently operating on is key to ensuring that Dental Intelligence functionality isn't impacted.

Checking Dental Intelligence system requirements before updating your practice management software is crucial to ensure compatibility with your current software and avoid potential disruptions. Dentrix

To find out the current Dentrix software version your system is currently operating on:

  1. From within Dentrix, click Help in the top header.

  2. Choose About Dentrix... from the dropdown menu.

  3. Locate the Installed Version in the upper right corner of the pop-up window that appears.


Eaglesoft

There are a few ways to find out the current Eaglesoft software version your system is currently operating on:

  1. Upon startup of the Eaglesoft program, check the upper right corner of the Patterson system pop-up window.

  2. Or, from the Practice Management or Clinical Screen in Eaglesoft, click on Help. Then choose About Eaglesoft... from the dropdown menu. The software version will show in the pop-up window that appears.

  3. Lastly, find the current Eaglesoft version in your computer's Windows Control Panel. On your Windows computer, click on Start. Choose Control Panel, then click Programs and Features. Locate the Patterson Eaglesoft application and note the software version listed in the Version column.

Open Dental

To find out the current Open Dental software version your system is currently operating on:

  1. In the main menu of Open Dental, click Help. Then click About.

  2. Locate the current Open Dental version near the top of the pop-up window that appears.
