Minimum Operating System Requirements

  • Windows 10

  • Window Server 2016

  • Most recent security updates installed


Hardware Requirements

Minimum: 2 cores at 2.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM, 40 GB available disk space

Preferred: 4 cores at 2.4 GHz, 16+ GB RAM, 100 GB available disk space


Minimum Network Requirements

  • Business Class High Speed Internet connection

  • HTTPS over Port 443

  • 80

Outbound Traffic Domains:

  • www.localmed.com 443 -- for connectivity to clients app portal

  • nuget.localmed.com 443 -- for downloading updates

  • pubsub.localmed.com 80 -- for sending remote commands to installs (pubnub)

  • data.logentries.com 443 -- for logging

Internal Firewall

Ensure that the following domain is added to Firewall exceptions: *.localmed.com.

We cannot guarantee the IP addresses for these will not change, but if they understand that and there is no way other than IP address for their firewall, you can call 'ping pubsub.localmed.com' from a command prompt to get the IP address of pubsub.localmed.com and run it for all the others to get their IP addresses

Example:

52.22.38.209 is the IP address but each of these IP addresses may change at any time


Running the LocalMed Sync Client

The computer running the LocalMed Sync Client must remain powered on to allow the sync tool to run.
