Thank you for being part of the Dental Intelligence community, where our mission is to make it more fulfilling to be a dental professional and easier to be a patient. After several years of partnering with a few amazing third-party payment solutions, we have decided to sunset third-party payment integrations to focus on the continued development of our native payment solution, Dental Intelligence Payments. Effective April 30, 2025, we will no longer support Moolah, Apex, or Stripe payment integrations.
What Does This Mean for You?
End of Moolah/Apex/Stripe Support: You may continue to use Moolah, Apex, or Stripe until April 30th, but there will be no future development and we will no longer provide support for this feature.
Third-Party Integration Deactivation: Our integration with Moolah, Apex, and Stripe will be deactivated for existing users on April 30, 2025. This will not impact your ability to use any of these payment integrations through their native portal, but you will no longer be able to send payment requests via Dental Intelligence Engagement.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Dental Intelligence ending Moolah, Apex, and Stripe integrations?

What will happen to payment requests sent before April 30th that haven't been completed yet?
Payment requests that are sent before April 30th that have not been completed will still be able to be paid by the patient who receives it. However, we recommend switching to Engagement Payments before the deprecation date so that you can make sure everything is set up correctly.
What will happen to payment requests completed before April 30th, but not yet posted to ledger?
These payments will need to be manually posted to the ledger. We recommend switching to Engagement Payments before the deprecation date so that you can make sure everything is set up correctly.
Will I still be able to see historic payment request details in the patient's comm log/stats and the Inbox?
Yes, these payments will still be visible inside of Engagement.
Will Dental Intelligence inform my current provider that I need to cancel my merchant account when I transition to Engagement Payments?
No, Dental Intelligence is not authorized to close any existing merchant accounts on your behalf. Once you have completed your transition, you will need to notify your current provider of the need to close your prior merchant account.
