The following steps will outline the process for a change of ownership to your Dental Intelligence Agreement:
Step 1: Current Owner Submits Transition Form
First, fill out this form to ensure that we have all the information we need regarding the new owner.
Step 2: Dental Intelligence Updates Information
Once we've received the completed Transition of Ownership form, we'll meet with the new owner to discuss the terms of the agreement they are receiving. We'll also update contact and payment information in our system to officially remove the current owner from the account.
Please note that if the new owner would like to discontinue Dental Intelligence services, the current contract owner is obligated to fulfill the remainder of the existing agreement.
Step 3: New Owner Set Up and Training
Once we've reviewed the contract terms with the new owner, the next step is to begin the process of transitioning the account to the new owner.
Dental Intelligence will work with the new owner to set up user access for all locations on all solutions (Engagement, Analytics, LocalMed). We'll also coordinate training sessions with the new owner to ensure that they are getting the most out of their Dental Intelligence subscription.
If the practice utilizes Engagement Payments
Dental Intelligence will reset the Payments module so that the new owner can submit a new Payments application. When the new owner submits their application, they will receive an email from Clearent that will give them a link to create their own Clearent portal credentials.
Dental Intelligence will send the new merchant enrollment form to Clearent to transfer accounts
The new owner will need to update banking information in the Clearent portal
If the practice utilizes DI Insurance
Dental Intelligence will connect the new owner with Vyne Support to get access and set up dashboard training
The new owner needs to update the NPI in Engagement Settings
