Dental Intelligence is the only system that gives you comprehensive treatment acceptance tracking. We automatically track diagnosis and acceptance for your Providers and the Dental Intelligence Treatment Tracker can even track your Treatment Coordinators and Assistants. These instructions include the steps necessary to set this up and how to add them to the treatment.

Setting up a Treatment Coordinator:

  1. Add the Treatment Coordinators and/or Assistants as Providers in your Practice Management System (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) and create a unique Provider ID for each Tx Coordinator/Assistant

  2. Add $0 Procedures in your Practice Management System. Many practices create one with the "ADA" code of AT.DI and one with the "ADA" code of TX.DI, the former for Assistants and the latter for Tx Coordinators. If you prefer, you can use only one code

  3. Map the TX Coordinator and/or Assistants Provider IDs to a User Account in Dental Intelligence (See our how to add provider ID's instructional article)

Adding Treatment Coordinator or Assistant to Treatment Tracker Automatically (Two codes):

  1. Adding the Treatment Coordinator: When you are walking out any patient that the TX Coordinator saw that day simply add the $0 'TX' ADA code to the ledger and make sure the provider ID we created for that TX Coordinator is on that procedure.

  2. Adding the Assistant : When you are walking out any patient that the Assistant saw that day simply add the $0 'ASST' ADA code to the ledger and make sure the provider ID we created for that Assistant is on that procedure.

Adding Treatment Coordinator or Assistant to Treatment Tracker Automatically (One code):

  1. When walking out a patient that any of your Tx Coordinators/Assistants saw, add the $0 code you created in step 2 to the ledger, with the new provider ID from step 1 as the provider.
