Why can't I access the Dental Intelligence mobile app?

The Dental Intelligence mobile app consolidates the Analytics and Engagement portals into one unified app experience. In order to access the mobile app, you'll need to ensure that you have the right permissions enabled. If you're a bundle user that has access to Analytics and Engagement, you'll need to make sure that you are logging into the app with unified credentials.

Important note: If your Dental Intelligence subscription does not include any of the features you see within the app, you'll be notified that it is not included when you see this Kermit message:

Grant App Permissions in the Analytics and/or Engagement Portal

Once you've downloaded the app, make sure that you and your team members have permission to access the app from your mobile device.

If you have access to both Analytics and Engagement, you'll need to ensure that you have enabled the permissions outlined below in order to access all of the features within the mobile app.

Grant app permission in Analytics

If you're an Analytics user, you'll need to ensure that you have full permission to the mobile app in Analytics Settings.

To enable mobile app access, navigate to Analytics Settings > Team Management. Open the user profile by clicking on their name, then click on the Permissions section and ensure that the Mobile App dropdown is set to Full.

Make sure your team has access to Team Chat in Engagement

If you're an Engagement user, in order to access Team Chat in the mobile app, you'll need to make sure that you have enabled Team Chat access in Engagement Settings.

To enable users in Team Chat, navigate to Engagement Settings > Users. Open the user profile using the 3-dot menu, then click on the Integrations section and ensure that the Chat user checkbox is selected.

Important note: If you do not have permissions in Analytics or Engagement dashboard(s) to view certain features, you will also not be able to see those features within the mobile app.

How to Login to the Dental Intelligence Mobile App

Analytics only users

If you are an Analytics-only user, use your Analytics portal credentials to access the mobile app.

Engagement only users

If you are an Engagement-only user, use your Engagement portal credentials to access the mobile app.

Analytics & Engagement users

If you utilize Analytics and Engagement, you'll need to ensure that you are using the same email address in each portal in order to access the mobile app.

To update your email address in Engagement to match Analytics:

  1. Login to Analytics. Click on the My Profile icon and click My Profile.

  2. Click on Contact Information and take note of the email address listed in the Username/Email field. Your Engagement login must also use this email address in order access the mobile app.

  3. Next, login to Engagement. Click on the Settings gear and then click Users.

  4. Locate your user and confirm that the email address shown in the Login column matches your Analytics email address.

  5. If your Engagement login does not match your Analytics email address: Click on the 3-dot menu and choose Edit.

  6. In the General section, select Login with email and then update the email address to match your Analytics email address.

  7. Click Save.
