1. Create a Custom Scorecard
You can create a custom Scorecard that mirrors the key metrics from the State of Dentistry Report.
Click on Scorecards in the left side menu of your Dental Intelligence dashboard
Click the + Create Scorecard button and give your Scorecard a title (ie, "2026 State of Dentistry Comparison")
Select Locations as your primary focus, then click Create Scorecard
When setting up your Scorecard, add each of the report metrics by clicking on the Metrics dropdown and using the search bar to select each of the following:
• Pre-Appointment %
• Pre-Appointment % Hygiene
• Hygiene Re-Appointment %
• Patients Net Growth
• Case $ Presented Restorative Average
• Case $ Accepted %
• Active Perio Patients Over 30
• Active Patients Over 30
• Perio Visit %
• Collection % Net Rolling 12 Months
• AR Days
When finished, click Apply
Next, set the Time Period as Last Year
Set the Trend as Trailing Years
Set the For Previous range as Year
Lastly, customize your display:
• Click on the Settings icon within your Scorecard
• Toggle on Goal Indicators to set targets based on industry benchmarks
• Enable Trend Indicators to see if metrics are improving or declining
• Turn on Industry Benchmarks to see how your performance compares to the data in the State of Dentistry Report
• Reorder metrics by dragging and dropping them into your preferred sequence
Save and Share
Click Save Changes to save your Scorecard
Use the group icon to share it with team members who need visibility into these metrics
Set up a recurring calendar reminder to review your Scorecard weekly or monthly
