Team Tasks enhancements

We've improved Team Tasks to help your team collaborate more effectively and stay on top of important patient-related action items:

  • View Task attempts and notes in three-dot menu > Activity Log: Now you can view Task attempts and notes by clicking on the three-dot menu > Activity Log.

  • Create 'Other' tasks without selecting a patient: Need to create miscellaneous tasks not necessarily related to a specific patient? Now you can! When creating a new task, choose Other as the Task Type and bypass selecting a patient.

Get additional insights on Tasks with the Extra Context column

We've added an Extra Context column to your Team Tasks dashboard to give you more relevant information at a glance—helping you prioritize and manage patient tasks more efficiently.

The Team Tasks dashboard now displays a new column that automatically shows context-specific details based on each task type:

  • Appointment confirmation – Shows the scheduled appointment date

  • Hygiene recall – Displays when the hygiene appointment became past due

  • Past due account – Shows the outstanding balance amount

  • Broken appointment – Displays the original appointment date

  • Outstanding treatment – Shows the total treatment plan value and service codes

  • Post-op – Displays the appointment date

  • Conversation – Shows when the last message was sent

  • Form signature – Displays the name of the form that needs to be signed by the provider

  • Other tasks – Displays your custom notes

No more clicking into each task to find key details. With the most important information displayed directly in your task list, you can quickly assess priorities, identify urgent items, and take action faster—all from a single view.

NEW! Set one-off office closures and holidays in Practice Hours configuration

Set one-off office closures and holidays directly in your Practice Hours configuration. This new feature helps you manage your schedule more accurately and ensures patients see correct availability when booking appointments online.

Updated: PHI toggle now blurs patient profile picture and full name when enabled

When the PHI toggle is enabled, the system now blurs both patient profile pictures and full names, providing an additional layer of privacy protection when viewing patient information in shared spaces.

Invite to Schedule history now shown on all Online Scheduling Action Item lists

The Invite to Schedule history is now displayed on all Online Scheduling Action Item lists, giving you better visibility into patient outreach efforts and appointment booking status.

User management enhancements

Additional user roles added to unified Settings

Additional user roles are now available in Settings, giving you more flexibility and control over team member permissions and access levels.

Additional update: The Dental Assistant role no longer requires a PMS Provider selection.

Payments: Open Claims column added to Accounts Receivable dashboard

We've added an Open Claims column to your Dental Intelligence Payments Accounts Receivable dashboard to help you work smarter, not harder.

Now you can instantly see which patient balances are tied up with insurance versus which need patient follow-up. This means your team can prioritize the right collection actions—whether that's following up with an insurance company or reaching out to the patient directly.

The result? More efficient workflows, better cash flow visibility, and less time wondering where to focus your AR efforts.

New Production metrics added to Location and Provider Scorecards

We're excited to announce powerful new metrics in Scorecards that give you unprecedented visibility into provider and location productivity across your organization.

  • Production Per Hour & Production Per Hour Scheduled: Measure productivity of your providers' scheduled clinic hours across locations and drill down to individual providers. Production Per Hour Scheduled automatically syncs with scheduled hours from your practice management system or uses hours you've set in Dental Intelligence, incorporating actual recorded hours when available. Now available in Location Scorecards (already in Provider Scorecards).

  • Production Per Day: Quickly understand how productive each provider's clinic day was. For providers working across multiple locations, view rolled-up performance and drill into individual offices to spot inefficiencies. Now available in Provider Scorecards.

  • Production Per Visit: See how well providers and locations are leveraging patient visits to maximize care delivery. Get insights across your entire organization at a glance. Now available in Location and Provider Scorecards.

'Perio Patient' icon added to Hygiene stat tile in the patient card

A 'Perio Patient' icon now appears on the Hygiene stat tile in patient cards, helping your team quickly identify patients with periodontal conditions who may require specialized care protocols.

Morning Huddle 'Yesterday' stats now show completed and not completed tasks

The Morning Huddle 'Yesterday' stats now clearly distinguish between completed and not completed tasks, providing your team with a more accurate view of previous day performance and outstanding action items.
