Automated Quick-Fill Scheduling: Propose open time slots to multiple patients in LiveOps

Now you can propose an available appointment time to patients on any of your Action Items lists directly from your LiveOps dashboard! Choose a proposal offer method to get patients booked on your schedule:

  1. First-come, first-served: All selected patients will receive the invite at the same time. The first patient to confirm gets the appointment slot. Other patients will see an expired message if they click on the scheduling link once the slot is filled.

  2. Send in 30-min intervals: Invites will be sent to up to 10 selected patients (in the order in which they were selected) every 30 minutes until one confirms the appointment. Once confirmed, invites will stop, and patients who received the link but didn’t confirm will see it marked as expired.

To schedule or propose a new appointment, click on the starting time in an available operatory and drag your cursor to the selected end time, then release.

Tag patients from Patient Chat

Tag patients directly within Patient Chat! Just click on the tag [ + ] icon to the left of the patient's name and choose an existing tag or create a new label.

Copy/paste images directly into treatment plans

We've made including images in treatment plans even easier by adding copy/paste capabilities!

Instead of needing to import a previously saved snippet, just take your snippet and right-click or use Ctrl+C to copy it. Then, click within the treatment plan window and use Ctrl+V to paste it.

Dentrix users: This will cut down on time spent saving snipped images. Learn more about adding images to treatment plans here.

Enable Google Tag Manager integration and add GA4 trackers to custom scheduling links

Gain better insights on exactly which links are driving patient leads. We’re updating our Google Tracker integration by moving it from custom widgets to custom scheduling links. This means you can now use Google Tag Manager/GA4 Measurement IDs without needing a scheduling widget coded onto your website, making it more flexible and easier to use! With this change, Google Analytics will capture scheduling link clicks from any link you share that’s set up for tracking—not just those on your website widget.

Enable the Google Tag Manager integration in Online Scheduling General Settings to add tracking IDs automatically on all of your existing custom scheduling links and scheduling invitations, or add GA4 Measurement IDs just on the links you'd like to track.

Name custom scheduling links internally for easier tracking

Now you can give custom scheduling links an Internal Name, visible only to your teammates and making it easier for you to track the performance of your links by providing more clarity on their purpose and audience!

The Internal Name will appear in the URL Activity section and the Scheduled Appointments CSV Report on the Online Scheduling Performance dashboard, replacing the patient-facing name. This change helps you quickly identify which link is tied to which demographic or purpose, ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience.

Filter by Scheduled Date in the Action Items Broken Appointments list

When accessing your Broken Appointments list in the Online Scheduling Action Items dashboard, you can now filter by scheduled date. Just click on the Scheduled Date column and choose to view All, Today, Yesterday, Last Week, or Custom (date range) from the dropdown. Learn more about the Action Items dashboard.

Simplified messaging opt-out selections in the patient card

We've simplified text, email, and review request opt-out selections in the Communication Preferences section of the patient card. If a patient chooses to opt out of text/email messages or you opt them out directly from the patient card, they will no longer receive texts or emails from your practice (including appointment reminders).

Note: Patients who were previously opted out of texts but opted in to appointment reminders via text will no longer receive those reminders. They will need to be opted in to receive ALL texts in order to receive appointment reminder texts. Learn more about updating Communication Preferences in the patient card.

Collections Board metrics updates

AR Aging and Claims Aging metrics now reflects data for current and open time periods

Previously, AR Aging and Claims Aging data, trend indicators, and trend charts did not reflect the selected time range, and excluded open time periods. Now, when you use the date picker, these two metrics will reflect data based on your selected time frame, giving you a complete and responsive view.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Trend details in months will display data for the past 12 months plus the current month

  • Trend details in weeks will show data for the past 12 weeks plus the current week

  • Trend details in years will provide data for the past 2 years plus the current year

These improvements ensure you have a clearer and more flexible view of your metrics!

Note: Source details for these metrics will not include data from open time periods.

Aligned KPIs

To provide a more seamless experience and ensure consistent data across the platform, we’ve updated AR Aging, Claims Aging, Annual Patient Value, and Collections to align with the KPIs used in Scorecards. This change helps eliminate confusion and this is an ongoing project to ensures you always have the most consistent and high quality data at your fingertips.
