Practice goals allow you to view performance and identify growth as a team! Setting these goals is a quick and easy process. When establishing the Practice Goals in the Dental Intelligence settings, you will be able to enter in goals manually, or enable Automatic Goals.

The decision to use one or the other is dependent on your preferences & what you feel would be best for your practice. To make this decision, refer to the following article in which we'll discuss how auto-calculated goals are established.

How to Set Practice Goals

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. Access your Practice Goals page by hovering over your Initials in the bottom left hand corner

  2. Click Settings

  3. Then select Practice Goals

  4. Here you will be able to enter specific practice goals as needed by clicking into the correlating Text Box for each goal

  5. Click into the Information icon ( i ) for further clarity on what each goal means and where it will appear

  6. When you've added your goals, select the Save Goals button at the bottom of the page

Auto Calculated Practice Goals

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. You can also choose to enable Auto Calculated Goals by selecting the Toggle at the top of the page

  2. Then select the Save Goals button to the right of the toggle

Auto Calculated Goals will accumulate individual provider goals to automatically identify overall practice goals.

For example:

Dr. Jones has a Production Per Hour goal of $500 and works 9 hours today...

$500 X 9 = $4,500 in production for that day

If Dr. Jones works 5 days this week, then...

$4,500 X 5 = $22,500 in production for that week

... and so on!

So to determine your practice's production goal for a certain amount of time, Dental Intelligence takes the total amount of Clinical Hours for each provider, and multiplies that number by their Production Per Hour goal and then sums each provider's total up.
