We've all heard the phrase "Work smarter, not harder". Have you ever wondered what it takes to do that?

When trying to have a productive workday, preparation is key to success. Here are three ways that you can prepare to have an efficient day:

1. During your Morning Huddle:

  • Check for patients that have unscheduled treatment.

  • Do you have any openings in today or tomorrow's schedule?

  • What is each patient scheduled for? Is any additional preparation needed?

2. Are you ready to go?

  • Stock and assemble your set ups the day prior or before the Morning Huddle. Save yourself the stress of doing it last minute!

3. Track your goals!

  • Goals are important because they help you measure your efforts to take care of your patients and help them live healthy lifestyles.

  • What goals are you focused on today? Some suggestions are: hygiene reappointment %, hygiene case acceptance, diagnostic percentage.

Taking these steps will help you reduce stress throughout your day and become efficient, allowing you to do what you love most: take care of your patients!
