We've all heard the phrase "Work smarter, not harder". Have you ever wondered what it takes to do that?
When trying to have a productive workday, preparation is key to success. Here are three ways that you can prepare to have an efficient day:
1. During your Morning Huddle:
Check for patients that have unscheduled treatment.
Do you have any openings in today or tomorrow's schedule?
What is each patient scheduled for? Is any additional preparation needed?
2. Are you ready to go?
Stock and assemble your setups the day prior or before the Morning Huddle. Save yourself the stress of doing it last minute!
3. Track your goals!
Goals are important because they help you measure your efforts to take care of your patients and help them live healthy lifestyles.
What goals are you focused on today? Some suggestions are: hygiene reappointment %, hygiene case acceptance, diagnostic percentage.
Taking these steps will help you reduce stress throughout your day and become efficient, allowing you to do what you love most: take care of your patients!
