Sending birthday messages to your patients has now been simplified! Wish your patients a happy birthday by enabling the Engagement Birthday Messages. Watch this short video to learn how!
If you are unable to access this feature or make changes, you have not been granted permission in your user profile. Contact an admin team member in your practice to enable access or work with them to complete the steps outlined in the instructions below. Click here to learn how to update user permissions.
How to Set Up Birthday Messages
Access Settings by clicking the gear icon in the upper right hand corner
Go to Practice Set up
Click on Birthday Messages
Select the Automated Birthday Messages check box
Choose the time that the message will be sent at
Use the Skip Patients field to avoid sending birthday messages to patients seen outside of the selected time frame
Select the Delivery Channel Preference (email or text)
Lastly, select the email and text message template that you would like to use
To edit your email template, visit the Email Campaigns > Templates dashboard.
To edit your text template, visit Settings > Templates.
When finished, click Save
💥Note💥: The Birthday Message Template content must not be blank in order for the birthday messages to actually send. If there is no content found in the Template, birthday messages will not send.
