Within Engagement, you can invite patients to schedule individually or in bulk.

Important note: Before you can invite patients to schedule, you must have at least one practice-level service added. Click here to learn how to set up practice-level services.
If you would like to send scheduling requests to patient(s) for immediate booking or for a specific procedure, please send them a custom scheduling link. Learn more here.
Update Online Scheduling Invitation Message Verbiage
Before sending out online scheduling invitations to patients, you can review the message included with your scheduling link in Engagement Settings.
Click on the settings gear in the upper right corner of Engagement
Click on the Verbiage tab
Click on the Online Scheduling section to expand it, then click on the pencil icon to make changes to the text and email versions of the message
Add placeholders by clicking on the Placeholders dropdown
When finished, click Save to apply your changes
Note: Do not remove the :link placeholder. If the :link placeholder is removed from the body of the message, your patients will not be able to click to schedule online when they receive your invitation message.
Invite an Individual Patient to Schedule Online
Follow the steps below to send an individual patient a visible, practice-level service scheduling request. This request will enable the patient to schedule an appointment in the next 4 weeks worth of availabilities based on the earliest scheduling date that you have set.
From the Patients tab in the left menu, select the three dot menu next to the patient's name
Hover over Communication, then select Invite to Schedule
This will require you to fill out the following fields:
Select the Practice location that this patient can schedule at. If you do not have multiple locations, simply select your practice
Select the Practice-level service type you would like to request this patient to schedule
Select the Providers that this patient can be scheduled with
Enter in the number of weeks out on the calendar that the patient will not be able to schedule for (ie, the Earliest Scheduling Date)
Select the Preferred Delivery Channel
If desired, click to check to send a Follow Up using the preferred delivery channel if the patient does not schedule after the entered amount of days after their last scheduling request was sent

To modify the verbiage in the Follow Up message, access Settings and then click the Verbiage tab. Scroll through the available verbiage messages and then click Online scheduling - follow up.

Click Send Invite
Note: If you have created a custom scheduling link, it will not appear in the "Invite to Schedule" option. If you would like to send scheduling requests to patient(s) for immediate booking or for a specific procedure, please send them a Custom Scheduling Link. Learn more here.
Send a Bulk Scheduling Invite to Multiple Patients
Follow the steps below to send a visible, practice-level service scheduling request to a list of patients in just a few clicks. This request will enable the patients to schedule an appointment in the near/distant future based on the earliest scheduling date that you have set.
Access the Patients tab
Select the patients to be included in the invitation to schedule
Note: This can be done by filtering with the patient filters OR manually selecting each patient by clicking on the checkmark box next to their name.
Click on Bulk Actions
Click on Invite to Schedule and fill out the necessary fields
Fill out the required information and click Send Invite
