Individual Patient Eligibility Verification

Learn how to verify a patient's insurance from within the DI Insurance portal

Verifying a patient’s insurance just got a whole lot easier with DI Insurance! Login to your DI Insurance module to verify a patient’s insurance. Simply enter the patient’s details to send a request and receive a response within seconds right within the platform.

Verify an Individual Patient's Insurance Eligibility

  1. Log in to DI Insurance

  2. Click the Insurance dropdown in the left side bar navigation and select the Eligibility tab

  3. Select Add Patient to verify a new patient's insurance

  4. Enter the Patient, Subscriber, Insurance, and Provider Information and click Verify (You should receive a response on your screen within seconds)

View Patient Insurance History

Select the History tab to see insurance requests and response history:

To see a list of previously verified patients, go back to your main Eligibility page. Here you may search, view or update the information to re-verify eligibility by clicking on the 3-dot menu or the Verify status shown in the Action column.


Automatic Insurance Verification within Dental Intelligence

If you utilize the Engagement Module, you can automatically verify patient insurance eligibility individually or in bulk directly from the Dental Intelligence dashboard, no need to login to the DI Insurance portal!

Eligibility verification in Dental Intelligence is currently enabled for primary insurance only. To begin verifying patient eligibility, navigate to the Revenue Cycle dropdown, then click on the Eligibility tab.

Set up an Automatic Verification Rule or instantly verify individual patient eligibility status using the refresh icon or use Bulk Action to batch verify multiple patients at once.
