Automated Consents
Automated consents will save your practice time by including the consent in automated appointment reminders.
Automated consents are consents that have been linked to a specific procedure code and do not contain custom placeholders. Placeholders in automated consents are not mandatory. However, consents with placeholders can only be automated if they include any of the three following placeholders that can be filled automatically:
{{tooth_or_site}}
{{provider}}
{{appointment_date}}

Placeholder Key
Placeholders can be applied when editing consents (and forms) to personalize the patient experience. Placeholders use a variable code that will auto-fill with patient or practice information pulled from your Practice Management Software or the Practice Info section in Engagement Settings.
Common placeholders look like:
{{patient_name}}
{{patient_dob}}
{{tooth_number}}
