What is the Engagement Bridge?

The Engagement Bridge is a non-interactive service installed on a single server computer, preferably where the Practice Management Software (PMS) component is installed. The Engagement Bridge interacts with PMS data and connects directly with Dental Intelligence IT infrastructure. A connected Bridge ensures that information is synced across both platforms so that your data remains up-to-date.


Check Bridge Status

To check the Engagement Bridge status of multiple locations in Dental Intelligence, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Click on the Settings gear in the upper right corner, then click Services

  2. In the Status tab, locate the PMS Sync Status line item and then click View Status Link

  3. Review the status of each location's Bridge in the Bridge Status column. If a location's Bridge is disconnected, you can see how long the Bridge has been disconnected for in the Offline For column
