In Eaglesoft, you must assign a preferred provider to a new patient that has scheduled an appointment in LocalMed prior to sending out a treatment plan.
If the new patient has scheduled in LocalMed but does not have a preferred provider selected in Eaglesoft, the following error will appear when attempting to send the patient a treatment plan:
