Mobile Scheduling Experience
When a patient receives your scheduling invitation via text or email, they will click on the link to open the LocalMed scheduling portal
The patient will then enter their name and patient status (new or existing) and will then click Next to continue
Next, the patient will select the visit type and click Next
The patient will now choose the provider they will see at their appointment, then click Next
The patient will select the appointment date and time, then click Next
On the next page, the patient will enter their date of birth, select a payment method, and leave a message for the office (if desired). Then, they will click Next to continue
Lastly, the patient will have a chance to confirm their previous selections and click the checkbox to agree to LocalMed's terms, then click Book Appointment to finish. This will send a verification and confirmation email
Desktop Scheduling Experience
When a patient receives your scheduling invitation via email, they will click on the link to open the LocalMed scheduling portal
The patient will then enter their name and patient status (new or existing) and will then click Next to continue
Note: If a patient is scheduling for a child or other family member, they can select "I'm booking for someone else"
โNext, the patient will select the visit type and click Next
The patient will now choose the provider they will see at their appointment, then click Next
The patient will select the appointment date and time, then click Next
On the next page, the patient will enter their date of birth, select a payment method, and leave a message for the office (if desired). Then, they will click Next to continue
Lastly, the patient will have a chance to confirm their previous selections and click the checkbox to agree to LocalMed's terms, then click Book Appointment to finish
Once a patient has completed the online booking process, they will receive a notification about the status of their appointment. If an appointment is accepted and scheduled successfully, they will receive an emailed notification alerting them of their upcoming appointment:
