We've Got You Covered

We know this situation can be frustrating, but rest assured that Engagement is designed to continue supporting your practice even while the bridge is offline. All patient communication and forms will remain fully functional, and you’ll have access to everything you need through our web-based system.

📌 IMPORTANT: While your bridge is offline, there will be no data loss. Everything that occurs during this offline period will be synced once the bridge is back online.

Features and Functions You Can Use While Offline

When the bridge between Engagement and your practice management software is temporarily offline, Engagement is still fully operational. Here’s a breakdown of what you and your patients can continue to use during this time.

For Your Practice

  • Web-Based Access: Your team will still have access to all features and patient communication through our web-based system.

  • Patient Communication

    • Appointment Reminders: Automated reminders (via text and email) will continue to be sent to patients for upcoming appointments.

    • Recall and Recare Messages: Engagement will still send out any recall/recare reminders to your patients, ensuring they stay on track for follow-up care.

    • Customizable Campaigns: All patient campaigns, such as post-visit surveys and promotions, will continue to run without interruption.

  • Forms and Surveys

    • Patient Intake Forms: New patient forms, medical history updates, and other necessary paperwork can still be completed online by patients.

    • Feedback & Surveys: Post-visit satisfaction surveys and treatment acceptance forms will continue to be sent and returned in real-time.

  • Analytics & Reporting

    • Engagement Dashboard: You will still have full access to the Engagement dashboard, allowing you to track campaign effectiveness, open rates, responses, and more.

    • Patient Activity History: All patient communication history (texts, emails, form completions) will be available for you to view and track.

For Your Patients

  • Appointment Scheduling

    • Online Scheduling: Patients can continue to schedule or reschedule appointments via the Patient Portal.

    • Appointment Confirmations & Reminders: Automated reminders will be sent to your patients, helping them stay on top of their appointments.

  • Form Submissions

    • Patient Forms: Patients can still complete and submit forms such as intake forms, medical history updates, and consent forms through the secure portal.

  • Engagement Messages

    • Text & Email Communications: Your patients will still receive reminders, recall messages, newsletters, and surveys via text or email as usual.

  • Feedback & Surveys

    • Post-Visit Reviews: After appointments, patients can continue to receive and submit reviews, allowing you to track their satisfaction and improve patient care.

Data Sync & Transfer After Bridge Reconnection

While the bridge is down, we are still collecting and holding your information on our servers. Once the reconnection has been established, all of the information we have been collecting will be posted, but you will experience a delay in seeing the appointments that were booked, new patient syncing, and any other information that we would normally be transferring to your practice management software.

  • Automatic Data Transfer: Once the bridge is reconnected, all data from Engagement (appointments, reminders, form submissions) will be written back directly to your practice management software.

  • No Data Loss: There will be no data loss. Everything that occurs during this offline period will be synced once the bridge is back online.

If your bridge shows as offline and it's not due to a larger outage, click here to learn how to reconnect it.
