Adding Your Widget to Google My Business
You will need the login for the Google My Business page. This is not just any of the office google emails, it's a specific one. Also, if you are already logged in to Google you will need to log out.
Only 1 office move on to step 3. More than one office start by choosing which location you are adding the widget to.
On the left-hand side choose "Info"
About halfway down on the Info page you should see a field called "Appointment URL", paste the LocalMed Google widget URL in this field
It will say pending above that section. It will take about 15 minutes to post (It can take as long as 24 hours)
Due to HIPAA compliance, the book button is not yet available for LocalMed widgets so all widgets will show as an appointment link below your contact information.
Suggestion for Implementing Your Widgets on Facebook
Using a Call to Action Button
You can utilize a call to action button to add your LocalMed widget Facebook URL. A call to action button will create the large blue button that appears just below your header photo.
Select "Add a Button" or Edit your existing button
Choose from these three options "Contact Us", "Learn More" or "Use App" *
Paste your Facebook widget URL in the website field.
*Please note the button wording cannot be edited and Facebook has now restricted custom URLs from being added. We are working to address this with Facebook in order to get custom URLs added back to the "Book Now" call to action buttons.
