LocalMed: Removing Appointment Types

Option 1: Removing Appointment Types in LocalMed

  1. Access your Practice Overview tab in your LocalMed dashboard

  2. Select the Gear icon that appears next to the Appointment Types Connected

  3. Click the Mapped tab

  4. Highlight the Appointment Type by clicking onto it

  5. This will then allow you to select the Red Disconnect Button found under the Reasons For Visit on LocalMed column

Note: This does not remove the appointment type / procedure type within your Practice Management Software. This will simply remove this as an option for LocalMed Online Scheduling


Option 2: Removing Appointment Types in LocalMed

  1. Access the Practice Overview page in your LocalMed Dashboard

  2. Scroll down to Offices, and select the location you would like to remove the appointment type from

  3. Select the Reasons For Visit tab

  4. Identify the Appointment Type you would like to remove, these can be found in either the My Reason For Visit tab or the Scheduling Directory tab. Then select the Trash Can icon

  5. Confirm by selecting Unmap
