There are multiple Hygiene Visit metrics captured throughout the Dental Intelligence portal. These metrics have differing logics or definitions, depending on where you are looking. You can review different Hygiene Visit metrics in the Performance Board, the Daily Report and the Provider Pulse. Refer to the following information to learn about the differences between these metrics.
Hygiene Visit Logics
Daily Report
The Daily Report only captures Hygiene Visit appointments that have a Hygienist listed as the provider for the following metrics:
Hygienists' Gross Production
Hygienists' Net Production per Visit
Hygienists' Re-Appointment %
Please note: These metrics are based off of the ADA codes attached to the users with Hygienist as their role. These metrics are not based on ADA codes alone and are entirely dependent on the Hygienist role designation.
To access the Daily Report:
Click Reports in the left side navigation bar
Click Daily Report from the dropdown menu
Performance Board
The Performance Board captures Hygiene Visit appointments as any appointment that is on the schedule with the following ADA codes:
D1110, D1120, D4341, D4342, D4355, D4910, D4921, D4999, D6080, D4646, and D6081
To access the Performance Board:
Hover over the Dashboard icon in the left side navigation bar
Click Performance Board from the dropdown menu
Provider Pulse
The Provider Pulse captures Hygiene Visit appointments as any visit that had one of the following ADA codes walked out on the ledger:
D1110, D1120, D4341, D4342, D4355, D4910, D4921, D4999, D6080, D4646, and D6081
To access the Provider Pulse:
Hover over the Dashboard icon the left side navigation bar
Click Provide Pulse from the dropdown menu
Click on Hygiene to review the available metrics available in the dropdown menu
