When a patient selects a provider to schedule an appointment with, the patient is presented with a default reason for their visit. This reason will be automatically selected until the patient chooses another available reason.
If you would like to add a default visit reason for a provider, follow these simple steps:
Select Practice Overview from the left side menu in LocalMed
Scroll down to the Providers section
Select the gear icon to the right of the provider's name
Select the Schedule Settings on the left
Select the edit pencil Icon
Scroll down to the Reasons for Visit and select a Default Reason for Visit
Be sure to click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen
