Important Announcement about LocalMed Services

Effective November 15th, 2025, LocalMed will be retired and we will be moving all online scheduling functionality into our unified Dental Intelligence platform within our Engagement module. With Engagement, you’ll get everything you love about LocalMed, plus powerful new tools such as:

  • Already using Engagement? You should have received communication on how to schedule a transition session with our Online Scheduling Transition team. Need assistance? Contact Support.

  • Not on Engagement yet? To continue scheduling online after November 15, learn more about Dental Intelligence Online Scheduling and schedule time with an Account Manager.

To make changes to an existing provider in LocalMed, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. In LocalMed, select Practice Overview from the left side menu

  2. Locate the Providers section and use the search bar to find the desired provider or scroll through the available list

  3. Click on the Provider name to open their profile and then click on Schedule Settings from the left side navigation

  4. Click on the pencil icon on the right side to edit the provider schedule

  5. Uncheck/check the options available in the Reasons for Visit section

  6. Uncheck/check the operatories and days of the week available in the Operatory Schedule section

  7. When you have finished making changes on the provider profile, scroll down and click the blue Save Changes button
