Team Tasks enhancements

  • Tasks Settings automation summary: Get a clear, at-a-glance view of your Team Tasks configuration without having to navigate through each setting individually. The new Tasks Settings summary consolidates your active automation rules in one place, making it easier to review, audit, and update your setup as your practice evolves.

  • Post-Op Tasks are automatically assigned to the treating provider: If you have auto-create settings enabled, Post-Op Tasks will be assigned to the treating provider. This ensures that the right person is notified and responsible for each patient's post-op check-in, improving care continuity and making it easier to track provider-level follow-through.

  • Create Conversation Tasks after a set number of hours: With auto-create settings enabled, Conversation Tasks can be created any number of hours or days since a patient message was received and not responded to.

Updates to the Engagement Module

Coming Soon! AI-Assisted Patient Chat

Patient Chat now includes an AI-powered analysis of unread messages from your patients. For patient conversations that haven't received a reply in 5+ minutes, count on Dental Intelligence to let you know which conversations to prioritize. Rather than manually reviewing individual message threads to understand if the patient needs a reply, the robot icon indicates when a message likely needs a response from a team member. This feature is designed to help teammates identify needs and continuously improve the patient experience — all from within the tools you already use.

Filter users by Permission or Privileges

Managing a large team just got easier. You can now filter your user list by specific permissions presets or privilege levels, making it faster to find the right users when auditing access, troubleshooting role-related issues, or onboarding new staff. No more scrolling through full user lists — just filter to exactly what you need.

Manage users by location in Organization Setup

For practices with multiple locations, we've added the ability to manage users by location directly within the Organization Setup tab. Administrators can now review user access on a per-location basis — giving you cleaner control over who has access to what across your entire organization. This is especially valuable for group practices and DSOs managing staff across many sites.

Patient Reactivation TouchPoint time range

You now have greater flexibility when setting up the Patient Reactivation TouchPoint. Define the window in which patients should be reached out to for reactivation — helping you tailor outreach to match your recall protocols and patient population.

Save in-progress email campaigns as templates

Building a great email campaign takes time — now you can save that work and reuse it. Any email campaign can be saved as a template, making it simple to standardize messaging for common scenarios like new patient welcomes, recall reminders, or seasonal promotions. Start from a template, customize as needed, and send — faster than ever. Learn more about creating email campaigns.

Updates to the Analytics Module

Month-to-Date Production Forecast added to Schedule Analysis

Now you can see the same Month-to-Date Production Forecast from the Morning Huddle in the Schedule Analysis month view.

Treatment planner breakdown now visible in patient card

The Treatment Plan tile in the Analytics patient card has been updated to display more detail. In addition to the unscheduled treatment value, you can now see the total value of the patient's planner — making it easier to identify how much of the patient's planner still need to be scheduled.
