AI Tools at Dental Intelligence

AI Receptionist enhancements

Answers about insurance. AI Receptionist can tell callers whether their insurance carrier is in-network or out-of-network, based on the supported and not-supported insurance lists you've set up in Online Scheduling General Settings. If the callers asks about a carrier that isn't listed, AI Receptionist lets the caller know that information about that carrier isn't available.

Call summaries saved to your PMS. Summaries of AI Receptionist calls are now saved to the patient's record in your practice management system. Your team can review what was discussed without leaving your PMS.

Team Tasks notes write back

In addition to task attempt date, attempt result, and task reschedule date, task notes left on Team Tasks are now written back to your PMS:

  • Dentrix: Office Journal

  • Open Dental: Communications Log

  • Eaglesoft: Patient Notes

Updates to the Engagement Module

TouchPoints™ enhancements

  • Filter Payment Request campaigns by patient age. Set a minimum age, a maximum age, or both, so Payment Request TouchPoint™ campaigns reach only the patients you intend. For example, you might exclude patients under 18. To set it up, edit the Payment Request TouchPoint and check Patient age under Criteria.

  • Exclude procedure codes from Outstanding Treatment campaigns. Choose procedure codes to ignore when deciding who receives an Outstanding Treatment TouchPoint™ campaign. Patients whose only outstanding treatment is an excluded code won't receive a message. Patients with other qualifying treatment still will. This keeps your outreach focused on the treatment that matters most. Add codes in the Ignore code(s) field when editing the TouchPoint.

Online Scheduling: Embed your widget on your website

Your scheduling widget can now fit your website exactly the way you want. When creating or editing a widget, choose a Type:

  • Floating button stays in a fixed spot on the screen as visitors scroll on your site page. Choose the positioning during widget set up.

  • Embedded button places the button in wherever you choose. Add the CSS selector of the target element during widget set up.

  • Embedded view shows the full scheduling experience directly on your page, so patients can book without an extra click.

After saving, grab your updated code from the widget's Details view and add it to your site.

Working with a web designer? For embedded buttons and views, your designer will need to add the widget code to your site and provide the CSS selector for the spot where the widget should appear. Check out our step-by-step Widgets guide here.

Note about existing widgets: Your existing widgets aren't affected by this update. To switch one to an embedded type, edit the widget, choose a new Type, then copy the updated code from the Details view and replace the old code on your site.

Payments: Mail paper statements to patients

With Paper Statements enabled, you can mail patients a physical copy of their outstanding balance directly from your Dental Intelligence dashboard.

Choose to mail the patient a detailed statement or simple statement, confirm the correct address is on file, then click Send and you're done!

Once a printed statement is requested, the statement will be delivered to the patient in 3-4 business days.

View data by quarter in the Collections Board and Provider Pulse

The Collections Board and Provider Pulse now support quarterly views. Click the date range at the top of the page, select Quarter, and choose the quarter you want to review. You can also use the This Quarter, Last Quarter, and Next Quarter shortcuts.

Scorecards enhancements

Choose your layout. Scorecards now offer three layouts: Comfortable, Condensed, and Compact. The more compact layouts fit more rows on screen, making it easier to review many metrics at once.

New Morning Huddle metrics. Team Member and Location Scorecards now include two new metrics:

  • Morning Huddles Completed

  • Morning Huddles Started

To add them, open the Metrics menu and search for "huddle."
