Customers with Engagement Payments now have the option of using physical terminals. These are available to purchase for customers using Clearent as their payment processing service.
Terminals are $207 per device. The terminals are billed through your Clearent merchant account on your first statement.

Using Your Physical Terminal
Collect Payment from the Patients Dashboard
Click on the Patients tab in the left side menu of Engagement
Click on the 3-dot menu next to the patient's name and hover over Payments, then click Physical Terminal Payment
📌 IMPORTANT: Wait for the silver loading block(s) to disappear before proceeding
Once the silver loading block(s) have disappeared, the payment screen will default to the patient’s balance due. You can adjust the amount as desired by entering a different balance in the Requested Amount field
Click on Click here to begin reading card to wake up the card reader
Next, have the patient insert, swipe, or tap the card at the terminal to capture the payment information
If the card reader does not automatically populate the patient's card information, click Manual to enter the card details by hand
If you would like to save this patient's card information, select the checkbox to save this card for future payments and give it a nickname
Click Submit to complete the transaction
Collect Payment from the Payments Dashboard
Click on Payments in left side menu of Engagement
Click on the blue Collect Payment button in the upper right corner of the Payments dashboard
Click Physical Terminal from the dropdown menu
Search for the patient by name, then click Next
