This article will discuss how to identify unscheduled tx opportunity by using Follow Ups the Analytics module.

Dental Intelligence provides several different ways that you can find unscheduled treatment. Some of them are a lot more effective than others. 

We'll start with the most powerful!


Automatic Follow Ups - Unscheduled Treatment

By turning on Auto Follow Ups for Unscheduled Treatment, you'll be able to automatically get a list of patients with unscheduled treatment. No searching, no pulling reports - all the patients that you need to call will show up in one, simple list.

Using Follow-Ups you'll be able to track the calls that you make and get reminders of the patients you need to call in the future. 

How to turn on Auto Follow Ups for Unscheduled Treatment

  1. Access Settings by clicking on the gar icon in the upper right hand corner

  2. Once in settings, click into the Follow Ups option

  3. Select Auto Follow Up Settings

  4. Click into the Unscheduled Treatment option

  5. Set the criteria however would be best for your practice

  6. You will now automatically get a list of the patients you need to call with unscheduled TX - You can access this list by click on the Open Follow Ups dashboard on the left hand menu

Here are the other ways you can find specific patients with unscheduled treatment:

  1. Patient Finder - Create custom lists of patients with specific types of unscheduled treatment (hint - you can also filter by insurance providers & patient balances).

  2. Unscheduled Patients Report - Access the Unscheduled Patients Report to identify patients that have been unscheduled for a period of time and view their unscheduled treatment value

  3. Restorative/Elective Case Source Data - View patients who were presented with treatment, identify how much they accepted and how much was left unscheduled

  4. Provider Pulse - Review Treatment Teams in Case metrics to view the treatment plans that were presented to patients and what was left unscheduled
