Engagement

NEW! Enable Google Analytics Tracking in Online Scheduling Widgets

Engagement Online Scheduling widgets can now be tracked via Google Analytics. If you would like to track your widget using Google Analytics, during set up or editing of your widget, click on the checkbox to enable tracking and then enter your GA4 Measurement ID.

Update User Permissions by Location

Multi-location users in Engagement can now have their permissions set by location. For example:

  1. Sally has access to 2 practices: Brilliant Smiles and Perfect Dental.

  2. Sally needs admin access to the Brilliant Smiles dashboard. In Brilliant Smiles Settings, Sally's profile has been set as Admin.

  3. To update Sally's access in Perfect Dental, we'll need to switch locations in Engagement.

  4. Sally doesn't need admin access to the Perfect Dental dashboard. In Perfect Dental Settings, Sally's profile has been set to Regular.

You can see which locations users have access to by reviewing the Practices column in Settings > Users.

Remember: When making changes to a multi-location user profile, be sure you are editing the user in the selected location that they need access to update their permissions for that location.

Important Security Update: Mandatory Password Change

As part of our ongoing commitment to security and user experience, we are implementing a new feature that requires users to enter a new password. Changing your password helps ensure your data is protected.

You'll notice that the next time you log in to Analytics, you will be prompted to change your password. It's important that every member of your team changes their password when prompted.

Enter the email address associated with your Analytics account to be sent a password reset email.

When you receive your password reset email, click on the green Reset Password button in the email to create your new password and update your Analytics account password.

NEW! Multi-Factor Authentication

Now you can enable multi-factor authentication for your Analytics account for added security. Multi-factor authentication will require you to enter an emailed code in order to access Analytics.

  1. Click on the profile icon in the upper righthand corner of Analytics, then click My Profile

  2. Click on Security

  3. To enable multi-factor authentication, click on the toggle to turn it on (green).

  4. With this setting enabled, you will be asked to authenticate your account via email every 90 days by entering the emailed code that is sent when you attempt to login to Analytics

Updated: Set Up Clinical Hours Directly from the Provider Pulse

We've updated the functionality that allows you to manage Clinical Hours directly from the Provider Pulse. Not only can you map providers here directly, but now you can set up schedules for different date ranges!

Click on a metric to review provider data. Then, click on the clock icon in a provider section to get started.

Adjust the date range if needed by clicking on the calendar button, then click Track Clinical Hours to create the provider schedule.

Now you can go ahead and schedule the provider's clinical hours or mark time off.

NEW! Share Scorecards with Specific Users

Refine your standard operating procedures for reviewing business performance even more as you can now share Scorecards with specific team members!

Additional Scorecards Metrics

For those interested in revenue cycle management, we have added new insurance claim metrics for Location Scorecards:

  • Overdue (30+), 0-30, 31-60, 61-90, 90+

  • Dollar amounts for each aging category

  • Count of claims in each aging category

  • Percent of all open claims in each aging category

  • See how locations stack up against each other

  • See trends over time for each location (Many dental applications cannot do this with AR aging but we can!)

See how well your team is collecting at time of service with new same-day Collections metrics:

  • Same-day collections for locations and providers

  • Same-day patient portion collection percentage
