Engagement

NEW! Patient Portal Payments

Now your patients can make payments online using your Patient Portal! Navigating to the Payments tab in the Patient Portal will allow patients to make a secure payment online for any outstanding balances related to their account. If the patient is a guarantor, dependent balances will be included here as well.

NEW! Cancel individual payment requests

The Payment Requests tab in your Payments dashboard now includes the ability to cancel requested payments in just a few clicks.

To cancel a payment request, locate the patient's name, click on the Actions button, and then click Cancel payment request. Only payment requests with the status of Requested can be cancelled. Payments cannot be cancelled in bulk.

Engagement Online Scheduling: Add custom scheduling link headers

Add header names to your custom scheduling links to make it easier for patients to know which service they are scheduling for.

Header names are displayed in the upper left corner of the online scheduling experience.

Dentrix Enterprise & Open Dental Clinics Users: Allow users to select providers from multiple locations when requesting an appointment

Dentrix Enterprise and Open Dental Clinics users can now offer patients the ability to schedule services online with providers from multiple locations. When setting up a new or existing practice-level service, select the providers that you would like patients to be able to schedule with:

During the online scheduling experience when a patient selects an appointment time with a provider, the practice location and address details are provided to avoid confusion.

In addition to being able to view providers from multiple locations in Online Scheduling, you'll also see them throughout these additional Engagement dashboards:

  • LiveOps dashboard

  • Patients dashboard

  • Action Items dashboard
