Engagement Online Scheduling: Allow double-booking for practice-level services
Engagement Online Scheduling users can choose to allow double-booking on practice-level service types. For example: If the doctor is scheduled from 10:00am-11:00am in Operatory 1 but is assigned to Operatory 2, this selection allows the doctor to be booked in Operatory 2 as well.
When setting up or editing a practice-level service type, just click on the checkbox to allow double booking:

Engagement Online Scheduling: Notes added by patients when scheduling will show in Inbox notifications
Comments added by patients when scheduling online will now show in your Inbox notifications, making it even easier for your practice to keep track of special requests.
When scheduling online, patients can choose to leave a comment here:
After submitting their scheduling request, the patient comment will show up in the Inbox scheduling notification details:

LiveOps® Settings: Follow or ignore patient-facing logic when scheduling
If you would like the schedule to reflect patient-facing rules when scheduling directly in LiveOps®, click the checkbox in LiveOps® Settings to enable. Otherwise, deselect this option.
When the checkbox is not enabled, you are able to schedule over closed/busy times/past dates, making it easy for you to manage quick schedule changes.

Engagement Payments
Choose to skip adding a payment method during TX Plan Presentation
When reviewing a treatment plan and selecting a payment plan, patients can choose to skip adding their credit card information by scrolling to the bottom of the presentation page and clicking 'Choose Later.'
Please note: If the patient chooses to bypass entering their credit card information, your office will manually need to create their payment plan in the Payments dashboard. Click here to learn more about how to create a payment plan.

Choose to show patient balance in Patient Portal
Now in Engagement Settings, you can decide whether or not you'd like to show patient account balances in the Patient Portal. Turn on or off by clicking on the toggle.

Patient Portal Payments tab shows most recent transaction
After a patient makes a payment, the most recent transaction will show as a line item in the Patient Portal Payments tab so that your patients can stay informed on their balance.

Auto-delete Follow Up Tasks
Follow Up Tasks Settings now allow you to choose to automatically delete Follow Up tasks after the due date has passed based on the time period you enter. Toggle this setting on or off based on your preferences. Enter the period of time past due that the tasks should be deleted.

NEW! Filter patients by Follow Up Tasks in Patient Finder
Now you can filter patient lists by patients with open Follow Up Tasks. Just choose the Follow Up Task filter and select the date range and Follow Up Task type to generate a list of patients with Follow Up Tasks that matches your criteria.

NEW! Scorecards metrics
We've added a few new metrics to Scorecards this month for all Open Dental users!
Production Net Estimated: This Scorecards metric is available for Open Dental users only. This is the amount of production after subtracting write offs made on the difference between UCR and insurance max allowed fees for billed procedures at time of claim creation.
Write Off Estimated: This Scorecards metric is available for Open Dental users only. This is part of the Estimated Net Production from Open Dental that has the amount expected. This is the dollar amount of write off adjustments made based on the difference between UCR and insurance max allowed fees for billed procedures at time of claim creation.
Write Off After Payment: This Scorecards metric is available for Open Dental users only. This is the amount of write off adjustments added to a claim after receiving payment from insurance in Open Dental. This is the dollar amount of write off adjustments added to claims after receiving a payment from insurance.
