When does the Morning Huddle sync with my practice management software?

The Morning Huddle syncs daily during the Nightly Sync, around 8pm each evening. However, if you have enabled Incremental Syncing throughout the day, the Morning Huddle "Today" and "Tomorrow" sections will sync every few hours.

Please note: The "Yesterday" section is updated only during the Nightly Sync. Learn more about the differences between a Nightly Sync and Incremental Syncing.

Why isn't the Morning Huddle loading?

If the Morning Huddle isn't loading, it could be because the browser cache needs to be cleared. Learn how to clear your cache.

Why isn't the Schedule by Operatory loading in the Tomorrow tab?

If the Morning Huddle isn't loading, it could be because the browser cache needs to be cleared. Learn how to clear your cache.

Why aren't all providers showing in the schedule on the Tomorrow tab?

The only providers that will show on the Schedule by Provider calendar of the Tomorrow section are providers that have appointments on the books for the day.

You can filter the schedule by provider role by clicking on the dropdown menu in the upper left corner of the schedule.

Next, reorder the metrics by clicking on the arrows icon and dragging the tile to the desired order. Or, remove an existing metric by clicking on the trashcan icon.

Why is the Production shown in the Morning Huddle different from the Production in the Performance Board?

Scheduled Production shown in the Morning Huddle is considered gross production. Today's Scheduled Production shown in the Performance Board is considered net production.

Why doesn't the date shown in the Today and/or Tomorrow tab match the actual calendar date?

The Today and Tomorrow tabs in the Morning Huddle dates may not match the actual calendar date. The Today and Tomorrow dates shown in the Morning Huddle are the next days that your practice has scheduled production on the books.

For example, if the actual calendar date is April 21st but the Today tab in the Morning Huddle says May 3rd, you don't have any production scheduled until May 3rd. If you click on the Tomorrow tab and the date says June 6th, that means you don't have any production scheduled after May 3rd until June 6th.

A patient cancelled an appointment scheduled for next month, but they're showing up in today's Morning Huddle in the "patients not rescheduled" list. Is this correct?

The Morning Huddle's "[number] patients were not rescheduled for a future appointment" metric on the Yesterday and Today tab tracks cancellation activity based on when the cancellation occurred, not when the original appointment was scheduled.

How It Works

When you view Yesterday or Last Week summaries, the metric includes all patients who cancelled appointments during that timeframe, even if their cancelled appointments were scheduled for future dates.

Example:

  • A patient cancels on Monday, December 8th

  • Their original appointment was scheduled for January 16th

  • This patient will appear in Monday's (December 8th) "patients not rescheduled" count

Why This Matters

This design helps your practice take immediate action on recent cancellations:

  • Real-time visibility - See who cancelled as soon as it happens

  • Timely follow-up - Reach out to patients while the cancellation is fresh

  • Proactive scheduling - Address gaps in your schedule before they become a problem

The Morning Huddle shows you when patients broke their appointments so your team can quickly work to reschedule them, regardless of when those appointments were originally scheduled for.

Questions about goals in the Morning Huddle

How do I change the goals that show in the Morning Huddle?

To change provider or practice goals, check out our step-by-step guide.

Can I view daily and monthly Production goals in the Morning Huddle?

Yes! The daily Production goal can be seen by hovering over the "below goal" or "above goal" number in the first paragraph on the Yesterday, Today, or Tomorrow sections of the Morning Huddle.

The monthly Production goal can be seen in the Month To Date Production Forecast on the Yesterday section of the Morning Huddle.

Will changing my goals adjust the Morning Huddle retroactively?

Yes. If you update your goal and then check the Morning Huddle, the data will be updated to reflect your new goal.

Why are some of my provider's goals showing as 0 in the Morning Huddle?

If provider goals are showing as 0 in the Morning Huddle, it's likely because the provider's clinical hours are not being tracked or a goal has not been set.
