We’re about to launch one of the biggest updates in Dental Intelligence history. Better Together launches this fall, bringing scheduling, patient communication, payments, and analytics into a single, simplified platform. No more switching between systems, disconnected workflows, or delays between data and action. Just one powerful dashboard to streamline operations, automate workflows, and drive smarter decisions.

With our Better Together initiative, Dental Intelligence is bringing all the tools you know and love into one powerful platform. When you log in to Dental Intelligence, you'll be able to access the following features based on your subscription and user permissions:

Personal Assistant

Stay on top of incoming patient notifications and action items, as well as outstanding Team Tasks currently assigned to you in Personal Assistant.

Patient messages. Signed forms. Online appointments. Team tasks. It’s all right here, automatically organized and easy to act on — so you can trust automation to keep the day moving while you focus on what matters most.

Filter inbox notifications by category, archive completed items, and mark tasks off of your to-do list. Learn more here.


Morning Huddle

The same Morning Huddle you know and love is now available alongside all of your Dental Intelligence features. Get a birds-eye view on what happened yesterday and last week, then plan ahead for today and tomorrow with your team. Just click Next to move between each section.

Dashboards

The Dashboards you know and love from Analytics are now right inline with your Engagement tools so you can move right into action.

The Dashboards dropdown includes the following features:

Performance Board

The Performance Board is a well-rounded snapshot of key metrics that let you know how your practice is performing and highlights potential for additional growth.

Collections Board

With the Collections Board, you can track how quickly money is collected, paid by insurance, and average patient value so you know exactly what your practice’s cash flow looks like at all times.

Provider Pulse

In Provider Pulse, view performance of all providers in the practice, broken down into specific metrics for applied date ranges that allow you to see who’s performing well and who may need your help.

Accounts Receivable

The Accounts Receivable dashboard is used to identify past due balances across multiple locations.


Scorecards

Scorecards allow you to choose from hundreds of powerful metrics, compare clinics, identify trends over time, and stay updated on how your organization is performing — all in one centralized space and custom-tailored to your needs.


Patients

Patients is a one stop shop to manage your interactions with your patient base. From collecting forms, sending bulk messages, and staying on top of your texts, Patients let’s you do it all.

The Patients dropdown includes the following features:

Patient Chat

From sending quick message templates to responding to incoming questions, replying to and monitoring patient messages has never been easier with Patient Chat.

Patient Finder

The Patient Finder provides your practice with a centralized patient database to manage patient information and communication, so you can quickly find the perfect patient segment for your next marketing email.

Note: Patient Finder filters from our Analytics-Only Portal are not yet available in the Dental Intelligence platform but will be coming soon! In the meantime, you can still access the Analytics-Only Portal to create any filters your team may need and they will instantly show up in your Filters Library just like they do today. Schedule

Schedule is your hub for ensuring your operatories get filled and stay filled with the appointments your team wants.

The Schedule dropdown includes the following features:

LiveOps®

Track each patient's experience in your dental practice with LiveOps®, a real-time view of what is happening at your practice and supports seamless handoffs throughout your team. The virtual operatory shows who you are expecting, who has arrived, who's already been seated, and which patient is ready to check out.

Scheduling Center

With Scheduling Center, enable your Scheduling Team to make appointments for patients across locations and providers, without having to access your PMS directly and limited permissions so they only access the scheduling features they need.

Schedule Analysis

Use Schedule Analysis to evaluate your schedule against practice goals, find gaps in your schedule, and prepare for upcoming appointments.

Action Items

Action Items enables you to find the right patient at the right time to keep your schedule filled with patients that will help you reach your goals. Quickly find and contact patients who want to be seen sooner, are past due for hygiene, have unscheduled treatment, or missed their last appointment.

Performance

Use Performance to gain a comprehensive understanding of your practice's online scheduling efforts and operations, so you can identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.

Configuration

Navigate to Configuration to manage your online scheduling setup, services, Reserve with Google integration, Google Analytics tracking, and more all in one single location.


Revenue Cycle

Revenue Cycle is your action powerhouse for maintaining a healthy cash flow in your practice.

The Revenue Cycle dropdown includes the following features:

Let Dental Intelligence Payments help you manage your AR, so you can focus on providing affordable dental care and improving dental treatment. TouchPoints™

Control your practice's patient messaging automation through a birds-eye view of your current set-up and easy to enable features within the TouchPoints™ dashboard. You’ll know exactly what’s being sent and when, whether it’s appointment reminders, recall reminders, or even special birthday messages.

Team Tasks

Streamline office workflows by prioritizing tasks based on urgency and patient needs. With Team Tasks, your team can stay organized and provide consistent, high-quality patient care.

Team Tasks is designed to work alongside TouchPoints™ to seamlessly connect automated communications to manual tasks, ensuring patients don’t fall through the cracks.

Dental Intelligence Bundle users: If your practice does not have Team Tasks listed, you will need to transition from Follow Up Tasks within the Analytics-Only Portal. Here is an article to help you get that enabled now.


Marketing

Take control of your practice's marketing efforts by building high quality emails, monitoring their results, and empowering your review process with our Swell integration.

The Marketing dropdown includes the following features:

Email Campaigns

With the Email Campaigns dashboard, you can see all of the marketing emails your practice has sent, as well as valuable insight into their performance so you know what's working and what's not.

Email Templates

Using our dynamic Email Templates builder, create visually striking emails for your customers with ease. Start from scratch or use one of the dozen of templates our DI Marketing team creates for you.

Swell*

Use Swell to maximize your practice's visibility with online reviews and effortlessly convert website visitors into new patients with seamless webchat. No need to switch to another website to access this tool either!

Communication Logs

Ensure that messages you send out are successfully reaching your patients with the Communication Logs dashboard. Here you can review all automatic, manual, and scheduled messages, as well as received documents, payments, and financing applications. Learn more here.


Reports

The General Report in the Reports dropdown contains Daily, Weekly, and Monthly report dashboards that can provide more details on the performance of practice team members across a variety of metrics. Learn more here.

DSO Reports will not be available in our combined Better Together portal. DSO Reports can still be accessed in the Analytics-Only Portal by going to https://portal.dentalintel.com/.

What's Coming Soon

We’re still putting the finishing touches on your new, unified Dental Intelligence experience — and that means even more powerful tools are on the horizon. While a few features from the Analytics-Only Portal aren’t available in the Better Together experience just yet, this improved integration is paving the way for exciting new capabilities you’ve never had before.

Coming Soon from the Analytics-Only Portal (still available there today):

  • Manage Analytics users, permissions, clinical hours, and goals

  • Analytics stats on the patient card

  • Analytics Patient Finder filters

    • Once created in the legacy dashboards, these will pull into the Filters Library as usual

You can still access the Analytics-Only Portal by using the App Switcher or logging in at portal.dentalintel.com.

Brand New in Better Together:
