How to View Current Appointment Types Attached in LocalMed

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. First you will need to know which Multi-codes we are attached to in LocalMed. To check this, please check the appointment types we are connected to in the clients app by clicking on the tab

  2. Next, you will see which multi-codes we are connected to. These are the multi-codes you will need to look for in your Multi-code setup in Dentrix


How to Edit a Multi-code/Appointment Type in Dentrix

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. In the Maintenance menu in the Office Manager, point to Practice Setup, and then click Multi-Code Setup

    The Multi-Code Setup dialog box will appear. (Note: this box is just an example and it will not match the multi-codes mentioned in the previous screenshot)

  2. Select the Multi-code that you want to edit and then click Edit

    The Multi-Code Editor dialog box will appear. Here you can edit the Description, Codes Attached, the Procedure Time, etc. from this box

  3. Click OK

  4. Please allow 20-30 minutes to update on the LocalMed side
